Benefits

Am I covered by your plan?

Each health benefits plan is different, although most cover counseling with

Registered Social Worker is covered.

First Nations Health Authority

I am registered and able to work with individuals who are utilizing FNHA and can bill directly. If you are Indigenous and not registered, I can help you apply.

Tax Information

Registered Social Workers are recognized as medical practitioners under the Income Tax Act. This means that any amount not covered by your benefits provider can be claimed on your income tax returns.

Sliding Scale

(Currently Full--waitlist available)

I understand that accessing affirming and culturally responsive therapy can be difficult to find, especially for youth.

I do offer a limited number of sliding scale openings for these situations and encourage you to reach out to me in my contact sheet.

Billing

  • Payment is done through the Janeapp. Payment can be done via e-transfer or you can save a credit card on your file. A receipt will be sent to you once payment has been received.

 

  • Sometimes life happens, if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment please do so within our 24 hour cancellation policy. You will be charged for missed, or less than 24 hour notice cancellations.
